Scorpion.

Don't let my appearance fool you,
For I am mighty and have been known
To sting.

A delicate creature by nature,
But easily turn dangerous when
Tampered with.

I fiercely protect those I love,
But have spent the majority of
My life misunderstood and
Underappreciated by most.

Should you dare try to hurt me,
That is when I deliver my venom in
A lethal dose.

To underestimate me would be your
Biggest mistake, don't ruin my reputation
By spreading rumours and rubbing
Salt into my good name.

I thrive off of the battles I've
Won, I'm not ashamed to display
My scars.

My past one that is bittersweet,
My temper running only skin deep.
