A Mother gives her child Her Wings,
So they might be able to fly some day.
She gives Her Voice, because nothing
Makes her Happier than to hear her
Child sing.
Mum, you have no idea how much joy to My life you bring.
A Mother will put her child behind her,
Instinctively acting like a Shield, so that
Bullet laced words of Mankind strikes Her
At Full Impact.
She stands long enough for Pain to
Penetrate Her, but whizz past and not
Harm a single hair on her child's head.
The Ultimate Sacrifice.
A Mother, gives her child the clothes
Off of Her back, in order to keep them warm.
A Mother gives her child Her strength & courage,
So that they will, over time, become strong.
All the Sacrifices you've made & continue to make,
Have built me into the beautiful, independent Woman
That I am Today.
