The Ballerina.

Once a ballerina,
Always a ballerina.

Like an angel dropped
Straight from Heaven,
She wears only the purest of white.
Dancing always every day,
Every night.

For if she changes the routine now
Just to please her audience,
Her heart will surely cry.

So, she's going to keep dancing.
You see, it is the Dance that is her
Greatest joy in life.

She doesn't allow her age, to hold her back.
Now's her time to shine.

Her heart swells with pride,
As God provides her with
Only the best and brightest
Spotlight.

This is her final performance,
She's going to dance with passion.
She dances like it's do or die.

Because for her, it is.
Though it doesn't feel
Like it.

It's time for her to say her
Final goodbye.
She takes one last bow, and closes
Her eyes with a content sigh.

A child at heart always,
She lifts her arms up to the

Father.

Eager to be held and reunited
With Him once more, as her Spirit
Is carried up to the Sky.

With a final kiss blown to her
Loved ones, she bids them a permanent

"Goodnight."

In this place where the music,
Is like she's never heard before.
She dances with grand performance
For the Father, like a child who
Puts on a show at home for their parents.
In this true Home of hers, her Spirit
Never feels the need to be restless.
Rather, reborn once more.
